Beacon Gives Back

Professionally, our associates take pride in providing "brighter financial guidance." On a personal level, it is our hope to help provide a better present and future by providing our time to give back where and when we can. Dress-down Friday donations are collected on a regular basis and our associates use these funds to pay it forward.

Empower Sports

A few of our associates showed their love for sports and young adults by playing basketball with members of Empower Sports, a Beachwood organization that uses sports and exercise as a means to enrich the lies of athletes of diverse challenges and promote kindness, character and service. We had a blast while we coached the kids, shared some high-fives, served as their cheerleaders, and replenished the calories burned with a pizza party. This event touched our staff in many ways.

Jeremy Cares Inc

We are proud to continue our event sponsorship of the We Love Jeremy Golf Outing. Through this sponsorship, Jeremy Cares has been able to continue their work of "creating moments of joy" for families going through a medical crises with a child. Jeremy Cares is a local non profit that provides Holiday Gifts, College Scholarships for pediatric cancer survivors, and supports families treated at local area hospitals. We have partnered with this local non-profit on different events from Movie Night at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital to hosting a Halloween Party at the Ronald McDonald House. Take a look at the video to witness first hand the smiles.... but grab a tissue!

For the Love
of Pits

We also believe in showing some love to our furry friends. Our staff recently sponsored a rescued dog through the organization's Guardian Angel Program. The organization's mission is to rescue pit bull dogs that are positive representation of the "breeds," train them to be well behaved breed ambassadors by placing them in responsible, loving homes. Please see the fun video below of the extremely talented Miss Annabelle.

Alzheimers Association Blondes versus Brunettes

Alheimer's disease has affected so many lives and we did our best to help tackle it in a unique way. We offered sponsorship to Tracy Catlin who participated in the Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football event. This event is organized around a falg footbal game in which two participating teams are divided based on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes. The game is played in over 40 cities in the U.S. and has been hosted in Cleveland for 5 years raising over $176,000.

Beech Brook Fleet
Feek 5K

One of our own, Jeremy Clark, our Director of Retirement Plan Services served on the planning committee for this 1-mile walk and 5K run. Money raised from this event benefited the children and families of Beech Brook. For 163 years, Beech Brook has been serving Northeast Ohio's most vulnerable children. Today, the agency serves nearly 20,000 children, teens and families each year.

Two Cafe and Boutique

If you haven't been out to the Two Cafe and Boutique in Chagrin Falls, we highly recommend it! Our staff voted to support a table at their Harvest Moon Event ... and then decided to go and see what it was all about today. Not only was the food delicious, but they serve up hope, as well. The Two Cafe is a training center for the Two Foundation. They bring the two worlds of education and business opportunities together to give their employees the preparation they need to be successful in their local work place. Their goal is to enhance the workplaces with the "sparkle" that comes from employing individuals with mild to moderate exceptionalities. Fabulous food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an amazing cause!
